Arteta addressed Jesus’s absence from training ahead of the trip to Villa: “It’s something to do with the numbers that we have in the squad at the moment and the way we’re managing that kind of situation individually with all the players – they have some personal situations.”<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the former City star is being ‘pushed’ to find a solution in the coming days<\/a>, with the Gunners keen to not let him run down his contract into its final 12 months.<\/p>\n
