Angel Reese has set another WNBA record. The Atlanta Dream<\/a> star officially made history during the Dream’s game against the Minnesota Lynx<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n “She is the one,” the Dream shared in a post<\/a> about Reese and her victory. “With her 29th double-double, Angel Reese now stands alone with the most in a single season in league history.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Just a few days before, Reese set another WNBA record<\/a>, notching 26 rebounds against the Sparks<\/a>.<\/p>\n The game ended<\/a> with an 89-81 Dream win. The good news for both teams is that both of them have a spot in the playoffs.<\/p>\n After the game, Dream coach Karl Smesko gushed over the team’s showing.<\/p>\n “You saw a different pace, a different energy about us right from the beginning,” Smesko said, according to CBS Sports<\/a>. “Great team effort, great way to go into the break.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Dream guard Jordin Canada also talked about the team’s stellar showing in the game.<\/p>\n “We were very disappointed in ourselves on Friday,” Canada said, per CBS Sports<\/a>. “We knew coming into today this is not the type of team you want to play around with, so we knew we had to come out with a different mindset, a different intensity and a different energy.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n So, both the Dream and Reese have a lot to be happy about after Sunday’s win.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
