President\u2019s intervention had no influence on the governing body\u2019s disciplinary committee.<\/p>\n Trump later celebrated the decision publicly, thanking FIFA for what he described as correcting a \u201cgreat injustice\u201d.<\/p>\n The red card itself remains on Balogun\u2019s disciplinary record, with FIFA using Article 27 of its disciplinary code to suspend the one-match ban
