Liverpool<\/a> reportedly remain keen on signing Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr, as per Football Insider<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Following Mohamed Salah<\/a>\u2019s departure and Hugo Ekitike\u2019s serious injury, the Reds prioritised revamping the attacking department this summer.<\/p>\n Initially, Andoni Iraola\u2019s side purchased Victor Mu\u00f1oz from Osasuna before buying Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around \u00a3123m<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n However, Cody Gakpo was heavily linked<\/span><\/a> with a move away. As a result, Liverpool explored options to replace the Netherlands international.<\/p>\n Yankuba Minteh<\/span><\/a> and Sarr<\/span><\/a> emerged as serious options, but Brighton and the Eagles eventually refused to let their star leave.<\/p>\n Having managed to keep hold of Gakpo, Liverpool didn\u2019t sign a third winger. But Football Insider<\/em> state that Sarr is keen to join the Merseyside club, and they remain interested in signing him.<\/p>\n Therefore, Liverpool will consider making a January swoop for him. The 28-year-old is valued at around \u00a339m by Transfermarkt<\/span><\/a> and still has a contract until 2029. So, Crystal Palace are in a strong position to demand a big fee if they are forced to cash-in in January.<\/p>\n Sarr is a 6ft 1in tall right-footed right-winger but can provide cover centrally if needed. He is quick, strong, good in the air and works hard without possession.<\/p>\n Since moving to Selhurst Park from Olympique de Marseille a couple of years ago, Sarr has enjoyed great success, winning a FA Cup<\/a>, Conference League and Community Shield.<\/p>\n He even showcased his productivity last campaign, making 22 goal contributions across all competitions. Having proven his worth in club football, Sarr has secured his place in the Senegal national team\u2019s starting line-up.<\/p>\n The Crystal Palace star is a Premier League<\/a>-proven player and is currently at the end of his career.
