The New York Yankees<\/a> have been without superstar Aaron Judge since May 31. He was out with a rib injury with no exact return timetable. <\/p>\n That all changed Monday night as the Yankees released the update fans had been waiting for.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Yankees officially announced Judge was off the injured list and back on the active roster with a tweet Monday night.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n The team continued by dropping a hype video for the star’s return right after the initial announcement was made.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n This is huge news for the Yankees and comes at a time when the team sits only four games back of the Tampa Bay Rays not only for the American League East lead, but for the AL’s best record as well. New York is also fighting off a surging Boston Red Sox team that remains only two games back of Judge’s squad.<\/p>\n His return will serve as a massive boost both to the lineup and to the organization as a whole. Judge already hit 17 home runs before hitting the IL following the May 31 game.\u00a0<\/p>\n Judge’s return comes at Yankee Stadium against a lowly Colorado Rockies team that serves as a nice tune-up for him as he gets used to game action once again.<\/p>\n A rib injury makes it painful to swing a bat and to throw a baseball.
