Arsenal<\/a> and Manchester United<\/a> were keen on making offensive reinforcements this summer but having failed in acquiring some of their chief targets over the last few months, the Premier League<\/a> giants could look for acquisitions in the January window.<\/p>\n Ekrem Konur has reported<\/a> that the Gunners and the Red Devils are interesting in signing Bournemouth forward Evanilson in January, with the defending champions also enquiring over his services in the recently concluded window.<\/p>\n Bournemouth turned down an informal enquiry from Arsenal but it is believed that an offer around the \u00a356 million figure could compel the Cherries to consider sanctioning the Brazilian marksman\u2019s sale at the start of next year.<\/p>\n With Eli Junior Kroupi out injured, it comes as no surprise that Evanilson wasn\u2019t allowed to leave the Vitality Stadium last month but as per the journalist, the 26-year-old is set to be one of the hottest properties in the coming winter from the Premier League.<\/p>\n Manchester United had been keen on bringing in a new number nine in the summer but that was largely subject to Joshua Zirkzee\u2019s future at Old Trafford. No new player joined as the Dutchman didn\u2019t leave the club after all.<\/p>\n While the Red Devils could be keen on another offensive addition this winter as well, it is fair to believe that Arsenal are likely to be the strong favourites for Evanilson\u2019s signatures from Bournemouth come January.<\/p>\n Viktor Gyokeres has yet to start a single Premier League game for Arsenal this season and with Kai Havertz<\/a> preferred up top, many believe Mikel Arteta<\/a> has lost faith and patience in the Swedish international as he targets a new striker altogether.<\/p>\n Evanilson is proven in the Premier League, is a sharp finisher and physically adept in the box, while also contributing to the overall build-up play by dropping into deeper areas and helping defensively with relentless pressing higher up the pitch.<\/p>\n It will be interesting to see whether Evanilson emerges as Arsenal\u2019s overwhelming priority, or whether his teammate Eli Junior Kroupi, who was linked with the club before his injury, and Atletico Madrid ace Julian Alvarez rank higher than the South American in their list of targets.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEvanilson could pick Arsenal over Man United<\/h2>\n
