The Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race will host its next edition in the Andalusian capital on Sunday, November 15, and registrations are now open through the event’s official website.

The event will return after drawing more than 8,000 participants in 2025, a figure that confirmed Seville’s strong link with Europe’s largest women’s sports event.

Women of different ages and levels will again share the route in a race that can be run or walked and that seeks to continue promoting physical activity as part of daily life

Seville, penultimate stop of the circuit

The Seville race will mark the closing stretch of the 2026 season. It will be the eighth event on the national calendar, following the circuit’s stops in Gran Canaria, Madrid, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Valencia, Gijón, A Coruña and Zaragoza. A week later, Barcelona will take charge of bringing this year’s edition to a close, on Sunday, November 22.

Beyond the event itself, the aim is for the race to act as a stimulus for more women to find sport a space of wellbeing, confidence and connection. Age, prior experience or pace don’t matter: the proposal invites participants to set a challenge, prepare for it and enjoy the journey together toward the finish line.

This sporting dimension will once again share space with the social commitment that is part of the circuit’s identity. Thus, in Seville 100% charity bibs will be available in favor of AMAMA, the Association of Women with Breast Cancer.

The total amount raised through these bibs will be allocated to support the work carried out by the organization

Over two decades promoting sport, health and commitment

Since its inception in 2004, the Women’s Race has built a movement that now exceeds 1,500,000 bibs. This figure, reached in the last season, cements the circuit as Europe’s largest women’s sports event and reflects the reach of an initiative that has spent more than two decades promoting physical activity among women.

Alongside this, a stable line of support for various social causes continues to run, notably the defense of women’s rights and the fight against gender-based violence. This work unfolds throughout the season and finds in each city new avenues of collaboration with organizations linked to the territory.

In 2026, the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race counts on main sponsorship from Central Lechera Asturiana, Oysho and Banco Santander, together with Marlente, Octopus Energy and Neutrogena. Volvo is the official vehicle and Correos Express the official logistics provider. Cosmo, Cadena Dial and the Daiichi Sankyo | AstraZeneca Alliance also collaborate. The event enjoys the support of the City Council of Seville and the Municipal Institute of Sport and also includes local sponsors Ziaja, Fontarel, Goya, Tongil, Planet Fitness and CICVE’s Tu corazón corre project.

Registrations, AT THIS LINK

CALENDAR 2026

GRAN CANARIA March 15

MADRID May 10

VITORIA – GASTEIZ May 31

VALENCIA June 7

GIJÓN June 21

A CORUÑA September 27

ZARAGOZA November 8

SEVILLE November 15

BARCELONA November 22

Source link

Seville already has a date to run together again.
