Former India assistant coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/abhishek-nayar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Abhishek Nayar<\/a> recently shared another such incident about the star batter&#8217;s habit of forgetting things.<\/p>\n<p>Nayar revealed how a 17-year-old Sharma once came to the stadium for an important match without his kit bag and later gave an implausible excuse. The 42-year-old said on Sony&#8217;s new show, Family Full House With Rohit Sharma:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You all know that Rohit is forgetful. I will tell you where this story started in cricket. He was a youngster and got selected for the first time in Mumbai&#8217;s Ranji Trophy team. It was an important match; our friend, who was just 17 at the time, came to the stadium for the match without his kit bag.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Yeh shaatir tab se the (He was smart since then). When asked about his kit bag, he said, &#8216;I was coming by train, someone pushed me, and the kit bag fell outside,'&#8221; he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Notably, Nayar is set to feature in the first episode of Sharma&#8217;s new game show. He will be joined by Shardul Thakur and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/shreyas-iyer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Shreyas Iyer<\/a>. It will kick off on September 19 and will mark the star cricketer&#8217;s hosting debut.<\/p>\n<p>On the cricketing front, Team India will lock horns with Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series in Delhi, beginning Sunday, September 13. The veteran opener&#8217;s form came under scrutiny after he registered scores of 11 and 26 in the first two games.
