In his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statmuse.com\/nfl\/ask?q=josh+allen%27s+stats+in+first+five+games+against+texans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first five games\u00a0<\/a>against Houston, the QB completed a below-average 55.4 percent of his passes for 980 yards, three touchdown passes and three interceptions, posting an abysmal 72.7 passer rating.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Luckily for the Bills, he forgot about those struggles in Sunday&#8217;s game at Reliant Stadium in Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Josh Allen flourished in Week 1 against Texans\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Against Houston, Allen went 20-of-29 passing for 334 yards and two touchdowns, including a 34-yarder to wide receiver Joshua Palmer, which gave the Bills a 36-31 lead late in the fourth quarter. On the ensuing drive, Texans QB C.J. Stroud fumbled in the red zone, giving new Buffalo head coach Joe Brady his first win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Allen also used his legs plenty against Houston.
