After she leveled the accusation, the 26-year-old was involved in a huge argument online after claims that she was lying began to circulate.<\/p>\n<p>Branstine is best known as a tennis star and a model. The California native was born and raised in America, but she has represented Canada on the international stage since 2017. Over the course of her career, the World No. 437 has clinched seven ITF titles, having unlocked a career-high ranking of World No. 172 in 2025.<\/p>\n<p><template id=\"template__newsletter-inline-banner-form-combo-widget\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<p><img id=\"subscribe-img\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\nThanks for the submission!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/tennis\/news-rennae-stubbs-carson-branstine-beef-publicly-controversial-wta-comments-fans-join-feud-get-delusion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Carson Branstine<\/a> took to X to share her negative experience with an Uber driver, writing,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDear @Uber, an Uber Black driver tossed my backpack into the trunk and broke my $2500 laptop with all of my work on it. I\u2019m screwed for work, I\u2019m freaking out. The AI chat bot was useless. I\u2019d appreciate it if you&#8217;d cover the $900 repair for the worst timed inconvenience of my life.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><template id=\"also-read-articles-template\"><\/p>\n<p><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Responding to the WTA star, one fan dismissed her struggles and called her \u2018an adult man\u2019, writing,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cBreaking news: adult man experiences a mild inconvenience, panics, and decides the entire internet needs to hear about his $2,500 laptop. Next time, try calling support instead of throwing a public temper tantrum hoping for sympathy. Nobody asked.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Branstine quickly hit back at the fan.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m a lady. Show respect. Not throwing a tantrum. In Mexico, second seed Iva Jovic has enjoyed a fantastic run, ousting Zeynep Sonmez and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/magdalena-frech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Magdalena Frech<\/a> to enter the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament, where she will face off against Cristina Bucsa. On the other end of the draw, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/marta-kostyuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Marta Kostyuk<\/a> will take on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/liudmila-samsonova\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Liudmila Samsonova<\/a> for her quarterfinals encounter, while Americans Peyton Stearns and Sloane Stephens will battle it out amongst themselves to book a spot in the semifinals.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, the SP Open in Brazil has also provided fans with some exciting tennis action.
