Montel has been one of the company&#8217;s key assets. He usually accompanies Hurt Syndicate to the ring. He hasn&#8217;t been seen on TV for a long time. Recently, Ganon Jones Jr. announced his retirement from wrestling.<\/p>\n<p>The independent star was part of the tag team action in which Andy Williams wrestled his last match. He and Duke Davis wrestled the Butcher and the Blade at Enjoy Wrestling a couple of weeks ago. Unforunately, during this match, the Butcher collapsed and later passed away. <\/p>\n<p>Recently, Ganon Jones Jr. took to Instagram and revealed that he is announcing his retirement from pro wrestling. However, he may not have many matches left.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking on Marking Out, MVP said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/aew\/news-i-desire-3-time-wwe-champion-drops-massive-retirement-bombshell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">he doesn&#8217;t have the explosiveness<\/a> in the ring that he used to. He also pointed out that he is focused on being a father now.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;My ability to wrestle at a high level is deteriorating because of time. I don&#8217;t have the explosiveness that I used to. And let me be real with you. I don&#8217;t have the desire.
