Liverpool<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a> are reportedly interested in signing Feyenoord defender Givairo Read, as per TEAMtalk<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The 20-year-old started his youth career at Zeeburgia before spending a few years with FC Volendam. He joined the Eredivisie giants\u2019 academy in 2023 before making his first team debut the following year.<\/p>\n The youngster has now established himself as a key starter at De Kuip, helping his side win a couple of domestic cup competitions in recent years.<\/p>\n This season, Read has enjoyed a promising start, registering four assists and keeping two clean sheets in seven Eredivisie appearances. He has even been helping his side mount a title charge.<\/p>\n Now, TEAMtalk<\/em> claim that Nottingham Forest and Everton<\/a> expressed their interest in signing the Dutchman this summer to bolster the right-back position.<\/p>\n Moreover, Liverpool, Manchester City<\/a> and Arsenal were also plotting a swoop for him. However, Feyenoord eventually managed to keep hold of him.<\/p>\n But the Reds and the Gunners haven\u2019t cooled their interest in him and are set to keep a close eye on his development before making a potential swoop in January.<\/p>\n Read is valued at around \u00a321m by Transfermarkt<\/span><\/a> and still has a contract until 2029.
