The Los Angeles Rams<\/a> notched their first win of the season in the Week 2 finale, taking down the New York Giants<\/a>, 28-6.<\/p>\n Below’s our instant reaction to Los Angeles’s dominant “Monday Night Football” victory.<\/p>\n The Rams are all right.<\/p>\n After a miserable showing in a 27-7 Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> (2-0) in Australia, the Rams looked like, well, the Rams in the easy win.<\/p>\n Quarterback Matthew Stafford was back in his 2025 MVP form, finishing 22-of-31 for 327 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. Running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 164 yards on 24 carries (6.8 yards per attempt).<\/p>\n Defensively, Los Angeles benefited from Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart (knee) exiting on New York’s opening drive, but it made things difficult for backup Jameis Winston, who finished 11-of-27 for 111 yards and an interception, by keeping New York behind schedule. Per Sumer Sports data<\/a>, the Giants averaged 2.9 yards per carry on early downs.
