Singh said, adding that there are plans to bring the region &#8220;the world&#8217;s fourth Grand Tour\u2026 I&#8217;m not talking about an event like the Tour de France &#8211; I want it to be bigger than the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/tour-de-france\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/tour-de-france\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-article-category=\"pro-cycling\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/tour-de-france\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tour de France<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">The UCI Road World Championships have historically been the domain of Western Europe, but Canada held the first event outside Europe in 1974.
