{"id":264235,"date":"2026-09-24T17:04:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T17:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sports.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2026\/09\/24\/49ers-star-receives-absurd-fine-for-on-field-celebration\/"},"modified":"2026-09-24T17:04:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T17:04:07","slug":"49ers-star-receives-absurd-fine-for-on-field-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sports.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2026\/09\/24\/49ers-star-receives-absurd-fine-for-on-field-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"49ers star receives absurd fine for on-field celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"ac_125167070\">\n<div class=\"froala-view custom-theme first_text_block\">\n<p> The NFL has at times been called the &#8220;No Fun League&#8221; by fans for its crackdown on taunting and celebrations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nfl\/teams\/san_francisco_49ers\/58\" class=\"yard_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Francisco 49ers<\/a> fullback Kyle Juszczyk may be calling the league that following the fine he just received. <\/p>\n<p>ESPN&#8217;s Adam Schefter revealed the fullback was fined nearly $15,000 for imitating a beer chug during Sunday&#8217;s game against the Miami Dolphins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,&#8221; the NFL noted in its fine letter.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"ac_125167072\">\n<div class=\"froala-view custom-theme \">\n<p>Juszczyk at least seems to be taking the fine in a good way.<\/p>\n<h2>49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk can only laugh at NFL fine<\/h2>\n<p>Schefter <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/2103160900421046631\" target=\"_blank\">also revealed<\/a> Juszczyk texted him to note he doesn&#8217;t even drink beer. The celebration is one he has done often because of his &#8220;Juice&#8221; nickname.<\/p>\n<p>This is a bizarre fine given he has done this celebration so many times in the past. He is appealing it, which may make the NFL realize this was an overreaction.<\/p>\n<p>Juszczyk had plenty to celebrate on Sunday as his 49ers picked up a dominant 35-13 win over the Dolphins. He only had two receptions for 27 yards, but one went for a touchdown. That led to his celebration and the ensuing fine.<\/p>\n<p>The NFL comes off a bit hypocritical here as alcohol is a fixture for fans at games, as are ads from major alcohol companies. Juszczyk also never once directly said his celebration has to do with beer.
