The Gators scored touchdowns on all five of their second-half possessions before running out the final 2:36 following a Trinidad Chambliss interception.<\/p>\n With a grueling back-to-back against No. 1 Texas<\/a> (4-0, 1-0 in SEC) and No. 2 Georgia<\/a> (4-0, 2-0 in SEC) coming in Weeks 7 and 8 (with a Week 8 bye sandwiched in between), we’ll soon see how good Florida really is, if it’s capable on winning a national title. But this squad could still easily win 10 games, which would certainly be enough for a College Football Playoff berth, potentially a first-round home game.<\/p>\n All this talk might be a bit premature with two months to go in the regular season, but it’s easy to get carried away. After Saturday, for the first time in a long time in Gainesville, anything is possible.<\/p>\n Defensive end Colin Simmons had a game for the ages in Texas’s 20-17 road win at No. 14 Tennessee<\/a> (3-1, 0-1 in SEC).
