Roston Chase bowled a slower delivery across him, and Rohit nudged it towards the mid-wicket region before completing the single.<\/p>\n<p>With this, Rohit has become only the third Indian batter to score 12,000 runs in ODI cricket, joining two of the greatest ODI batters of all time, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. The Hitman has also become the second-fastest batter to reach 12,000 ODI runs, achieving the landmark in 282 innings.<\/p>\n<p>Kohli remains the fastest player in the world to reach 12,000 ODI runs having reached the milestone in 242 innings. His fastest hundred came off 63 balls against Afghanistan in Delhi in 2023. His latest century against the West Indies came in 72 balls in Guwahati.<\/p>\n<p>The Hitman\u2019s other fastest ODI hundreds came off 76 balls against England in Cuttack in 2025, 82 balls against England in Nottingham in 2018, and 83 balls against New Zealand in Indore in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most ODI Sixes in a Country<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rohit has also created a new record for the most ODI sixes by a batter in a single country. He has now hit 200 sixes in India.
