So yeah, you have to choose the battles you want to win. A break of two were well up the road \u2013 the gap at five minutes at the start of the climb \u2013 and one of those was Josh Burnett (Burgos Burpellet BH), who was only 3:20 behind overall at the start of the day. And now I&#8217;m really, really happy that I&#8217;m sitting here still in the orange jersey, and I survived all of this,&#8221; Jasch told the assembled media in the Genting Highlands after taking third on the stage and comfortably holding his GC lead.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">In fact, he even extended his lead to 26 seconds on second-placed Balderstone, a commanding position to be in given that the remaining stages are largely flat.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">&#8220;I think I can be quite confident, but yeah, in the end, it&#8217;s still three more stages to come, and you never know what happens, so let&#8217;s keep fighting,&#8221; said Jasch.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">And no matter what now happens in Malaysia, his performance so far in his first role as a leader chasing overall victory is bound to mean we will see him continuing the GC fight in future, because there can now be little doubt about his ability to deliver in that role.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">*<em>Cyclingnews attended Le Tour de Langkawi on an invitation\/media package from the race that included travel and accommodation.
