Green Bay Packers<\/a> head coach Matt LaFleur<\/a> became the subject of hot-seat rumors after the Packers suffered a stunning 35-14<\/a>\u00a0home loss to the previously winless Atlanta Falcons<\/a> on Sept. 24 that dropped Green Bay to 1-2 on the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It sounds like Packers fans aren’t the only noteworthy members of the\u00a0<\/span>NFL<\/span><\/a>\u00a0community who aren’t all that high on LaFleur this fall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “He looks overwhelmed to me,” an unnamed general manager said about LaFleur during a recent chat with NFL insider\u00a0<\/span>Jason La Canfora<\/span><\/a>\u00a0for a Casino.org piece. “I think calling plays and trying to manage the team at the same time is too much for him right now. There are too many fires for him to put out. Considering how the Falcons looked over the season’s first two weeks, it’s understandable that at least pockets of Packers fans are fearing that the team could be heading in the wrong direction.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>ESPN stats<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0show that Packers quarterback\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Jordan Love<\/a> began Thursday ranked 21st in the league among qualified passers with a 49.8 adjusted QBR for the campaign. Over the season’s first three weeks, he tossed six touchdown passes and a pair of interceptions.<\/p>\n “He\u2019s the type of guy who needs everything to be pretty quiet around him, and he can deliver,” the general manager told La Canfora while speaking about Love. “But that\u2019s not how this team\u2019s built anymore.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n On paper, the Packers’ Week 4 game at an 0-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a>\u00a0side that will be without\u00a0<\/span>injured<\/span><\/a>\u00a0starting\u00a0<\/span>quarterback Baker Mayfield<\/span>\u00a0should be a get-right spot for Green Bay.
