Leeds United<\/a> have entered the race to sign a new striker, despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s red-hot form at the start of the Premier League<\/a> season.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After being embroiled in a relegation battle for large parts of the 2025-26 season, Leeds have kicked on during the opening stages of the new campaign, taking nine points from their opening five matches, having won two matches and drawn three.<\/p>\n Calvert-Lewin has once again been one of the Whites’ most important players, picking up four goals in seven matches across all competitions, and Daniel Farke<\/a> has been left very impressed by his centre-forward’s performances.<\/p>\n Speaking after the 4-1 victory against Newcastle United, in which the Englishman scored a brace, Farke<\/a> said: “Dominic is a crucial player and if he shows this type of form, he\u2019s definitely one of the best strikers in this league.
