He was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nhl\/articles\/stars_place_matt_duchene_on_ir\/s1_14825_44370520\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">placed<\/a> on long-term injured reserve retroactive to Sept. 29.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The team has recalled forwards Colin Blackwell and Arttu Hyry, who will take over during Duchene&#8217;s absence.
