T<\/span>he Denver Nuggets<\/strong> and Manchester City Football Club<\/strong> have a little bit in common right now. In the past few days, both teams have become first-time champions — the Nuggets <\/strong> after an NBA Finals<\/strong> victory over the Miami Heat<\/strong>, and Man City<\/strong> after winning the UEFA Champions League<\/strong> for the first time in club history.<\/p>\n

But the titles couldn’t have been celebrated more differently (pending Denver<\/strong>‘s championship parade) by top players from each team — Nuggets<\/strong> center Nikola Jokic<\/strong>, and City<\/strong> midfielder Jack Grealish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jokic: “I need to go home”<\/h2>\n

Perhaps the moment was slow to sink in for Jokic<\/strong>, but the Nuggets<\/strong> superstar kept his shirt on (literally) and really just wanted to leave Ball Arena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Joker<\/strong> told NBA TV<\/strong> that he was more focused on returning home<\/a> to his native Serbia<\/strong> than participating in the Nuggets’ championship parade on Thursday — though he said that he would be there, of course.<\/p>\n

And once his media duties were finished, Jokic<\/a> did find time to tackle Jamal Murray<\/strong> — his incomparable<\/a> teammate — into the pool in the Denver<\/strong> locker room.<\/p>\n

Grealish: A trophy soaked in alcohol!<\/h2>\n

Over in Manchester<\/strong>, club-record signing Grealish<\/strong> chose a markedly-different method of celebrating Man City<\/strong>‘s historic treble.<\/p>\n

Grealish<\/a>, often seen shirtless, paraded around Manchester with his teammates less than 48 hours after City<\/strong> beat Inter Milan<\/strong> to win the Champions League<\/strong>. In this state, Grealish at one point said Bernardo Silva<\/strong> — whom he “adores” — looked “homeless.” He further admitted he “hadn’t slept” since the victory in Istanbul<\/strong>, confirmed with a 68th-minute Rodri<\/strong> goal.<\/p>\n

Grealish later took to social media to tweet an image that has become instantly iconic for Cityzens everywhere — the player himself standing on top of a parade bus, topless and arms held aloft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
