Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday. Jaffna Kings won the toss and opted to field first.<\/p>\n<p>Put in to batted first, Colombo Stars posted a competitive total of 163\/5 in their 20 overs, with some solid contributions from their top order batters \u2013 <strong>Dinesh Chandimal<\/strong> (49), <strong>Charith Asalanka<\/strong> (31) and <strong>Ravi Bopara<\/strong> (47 not out). In response, Jaffna Kings got off to a shaky start, losing a few early wickets. However, <strong>Avishka Fernando<\/strong> steadied the innings with a brilliant knock of 50 runs from 43 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by <strong>Sadeera Samarawickrama<\/strong> (44 off 27) in the middle, and the Kings managed to chase down the target in the final over to win the match by two wickets.<\/p>\n<p>Fernando was named the \u2018Player of the Match\u2019 for his crucial knock, and the Kings won their third LPL title with this victory.
