Ange Postecoglou\u2019s Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly accepted an offer worth over $AU168 million to allow Harry Kane to sign with German giants Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old is in the final month of his contract and has been linked to an exit for some time, though in recent weeks he shown more interest in staying, enjoying life under the new Aussie manager<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite that, The Athletic reports<\/a> Spurs accepted the offer on Wednesday (UK time), leaving Kane to decide whether he wants to move or not.<\/p>\n

If they do not allow Kane to leave and can\u2019t re-sign him as they have desired, they would risk losing him as a free agent next off-season.<\/p>\n

Last weekend, Kane showed no sign of being distracted while scoring a hat-trick in 55 minutes against Shakhtar in what was new boss Postecoglou\u2019s first match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou was given a rousing reception by the Spurs faithful and the noise increased when it was announced Kane would captain the north London side in the absence of Hugo Lloris.<\/p>\n

Kane, Tottenham\u2019s all-time record scorer, had two early shots saved, before opening his account with a 38th-minute penalty after James Maddison had been brought down in the area.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian visitors equalised on the brink of half-time through Kevin Kelsy\u2019s close-range header.<\/p>\n

But Kane was soon back on the goal trail when he headed in a cross from fellow England international Maddison in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n

He completed his treble five minutes later when Son Heung-Min found Dejan Kulusevski, who slipped the ball between Mykola Matviyenko\u2019s legs, with Kane shooting powerfully into the bottom corner.<\/p>\n

Lifelong Spurs fan Kane had already heard several renditions of \u201che\u2019s one of our own\u201d before his hat-trick but a section of the crowd chanted \u201cwe want you to stay\u201d after his third goal\u201d.<\/p>\n

Kane completed his haul for the day when he followed up from close range in the 79th minute after substitute Manor Solomon\u2019s curled shot was saved.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou replaced the Tottenham talisman a minute later and Kane left the pitch to a standing ovation before responding with applause to all four corners of the ground.<\/p>\n

Spurs academy graduate Dane Scarlett came on for Kane and scored with the last kick of the game.<\/p>\n

The full-time whistle followed and Kane walked over on his own to each side of the stadium to clap the fans, but Australian boss Postecoglou played down the significance of the gesture.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are reading something into it, aren\u2019t you,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what\u2019s in Harry\u2019s mind, let alone anyone else\u2019s. I think all these things will obviously play out over the next period, we\u2019ll deal with what happens from there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
