The body of Tania Souza, who had become very popular in recent months as a fitness influencer, was found at her home in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Brazilian press reports that before her death Tania Souza had deactivated her social media accounts, and close friends reported that she was going through a period of deep emotional fragility and mental health-related difficulties.
A friend also claimed that the personal trainer regularly used illicit substances.

Tania was a nationally recognized figure at MMA events, especially in Manaus, where she was affectionately nicknamed the “Amazon ring girl”.
