    AEW star breaks silence after suffering an injury on Dynamite

    A major AEW star who suffered an unfortunate injury at Dynamite last night finally broke her silence following the incident.

    This week’s Dynamite featured a highly anticipated title match between the Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale), who put their AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne of the MegaBad. Although the bout started strongly, it had to be stopped midway due to a high-risk maneuver that went terribly wrong. The spot had Ford performing a moonsault from the top rope onto Cameron and Nightingale, who were positioned outside the ring. However, the reigning women’s tag champions seemingly misjudged their positioning and failed to catch the 33-year-old, who landed awkwardly and injured her leg. The match was then stopped, and an emotional Ford was taken to the back.

    Some time after that match, the Jacksonville-based promotion released an exclusive on X featuring MegaBad, in which the trio (including Lena Cross) sent a strong message to the Babes of Wrath, suggesting they weren’t done with them. Ford, in particular, boldly stated that the tag champions had taken a piece from them (seemingly referring to her injury), but that it would be the last time ever.

    “You’ve taken a piece of us, but it will be the last thing you ever do,” said Ford (0:04 – 0:09)

    AEW star Kris Statlander was not a fan of this one Penelope Ford move

    Kris Statlander is among the top women in AEW today and commands love and respect from nearly everyone on the roster. This was evident when she received a flood of social media mentions from her peers celebrating her 30th birthday last August. However, the Galaxy’s Greatest Alien wasn’t too pleased with Penelope Ford’s birthday wish.

    Ford had taken to Instagram Stories to post a rather unconventional photo of the duo, in which the 32-year-old is seen licking Statlander. The former AEW Women’s Champion, meanwhile, didn’t take too kindly to the post, replying to Ford to ask never to do that again.
