WWE WrestleMania 42 is now in the history books, and we have a number of new champions. The most prominent title change, was of course, Roman Reigns finally winning the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk in the main event of Night Two.
Elsewhere on the card, Trick Williams defeated Sami Zayn for the United States Championship while both women’s world titles changed hands. Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win their respective matches and become world champions of their respective brands.
Thanks for the submission!
RAW after WrestleMania is usually the most exciting episode of the red-branded show every year. Several NXT stars are called up and make their debuts, while others make their returns after a spell on the sidelines.
In this article, we’ll take a look at six WWE Superstars who can return to the weekly show tonight on RAW.
#6. Chad Gable
Although we have seen the Original El Grande Americano on WWE RAW since his return at the Royal Rumble, Chad Gable is still missing in action. The former tag team champion was last seen on the red-branded show in the summer of 2025 before he suffered a serious injury.
After a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Gable could finally make his return to the Stamford-based promotion as himself. He could address his learnings during his time off, and also speak about the mask vs. mask match coming up at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30.
He could express his support for El Originale, or even reintroduce American Made after weeks of absence. This would allow him to seamlessly transition into his old character if El Originale loses the mask vs. mask match.
#5. Xavier Woods
Woods had dealing with a shoulder injury in February, and revealed at the time that he was optimistic he would not be sidelined for too long. Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller have been holding down the fort as The New Day in his absence.
However, it just hasn’t been the same without him joining Kingston. Tonight, Woods could finally make his return provided he has been cleared to make appearances for WWE again. There has been no update on him having to undergo surgery so far, meaning he might have been able to overcome his issues via physical therapy.
If so, he could reunite with Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller to bring the New Day back into the spotlight.
#4. Paige
Paige made her return to WWE for the first time in years by replacing Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 42. The Hall of Famer revealed she had to undergo surgery for her ankle injury, and was not cleared to compete. The Anti-Diva teamed up with Brie Bella to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship in her first match back.
Tonight, the former Divas Champion could come back to WWE RAW to greet the fans. She could be joined by The Bella Twins and cut an emotional promo about returning to the ring after being forced to retire due to her injuries. Since the Women’s Tag Team Champions are allowed to appear on all brands, Paige could appear on the red-branded show and soak in the applause from the fans after a strong comeback at the biggest premium live event of the year.
#3 and #2. Erik and Ivar (The War Raiders)
The War Raiders have been missing in action for months. The last time they were seen was on an episode of RAW where Oba Femi destroyed both Erik and Ivar in a segment that essentially showcased him as a force to be reckoned with.
The former tag team champions have been without a prominent storyline for months and could finally return to RAW tonight to start the revival of the tag team division. The chances of them returning, however, are low since Sarah Logan, Erik’s wife, is expecting their third child. However, there is still a chance that they could have a brief run in the tag team division for the next month or so.
#1. Bron Breakker
The former Intercontinental Champion has been out of action since February, and finally made his return to television at WrestleMania 42. Breakker stormed down the ramp to spear Seth Rollins and rekindle his feud with his former teammate.
Rollins lost his match against Gunther, and was then confronted by a returning Breakker. It now seems like their storyline will extend throughout the summer. However, he will first have to make his return to WWE RAW to address the situation and his status.
Paul Heyman had previously confirmed that Breakker would not be fit in time for WrestleMania 42. And while he didn’t wrestle at the premium live event, he surely made his presence felt. Now, it is likely that Breakker will make his return on the Monday Night Show for the first time since the episode of WWE RAW after the Royal Rumble.
