Newcastle United have now been gifted a boost in their battle to sign an impressive striker this summer, who is seriously considering a move to St James’ Park.
Newcastle racing to sign attacking star
It’s no surprise that the Magpies are on the hunt for attacking additions. They were already lacking a goal threat, but the departure of Anthony Gordon has left them undeniably depleted.
PIF simply have to back Eddie Howe with the right additions this time around, having splashed the cash on Nick Woltemade, Anthony Elanaga and Yoane Wissa last summer, who have all struggled.

The £69m fee received for Gordon from Barcelona should certainly enhance Newcastle’s spending this summer, even though they failed to qualify for European football.
It could see the likes of Victor Munoz arrive, with the winger seemingly their current priority, as well as another impressive attacker at a bargain price this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Dusan Vlahovic is now seriously considering a move to Newcastle after the latest round of talks with the Magpies.

The Magpies are ready to spend big…
The Serbian forward is on course to become a free agent at the end of his Juventus deal this summer and whilst do-or-die talks are scheduled with the Turin club, he is not short on potential suitors.
Alongside the Magpies, Vlahovic also has interest from Chelsea – sparking an all-Premier League battle to land his signature. Whether Newcastle can push ahead of the Blues to land an attacking solution of their own is now the big question.
Newcastle should do everything to sign Vlahovic
In terms of attacking solutions at a bargain price, it doesn’t get better than Vlahovic this summer. The forward hasn’t always been at his best at Juventus, but has so far made a career of scoring goals. And that is exactly what Newcastle need to finally replace Alexander Isak.
The forward has scored 156 goals throughout his career and at 26 years old, there is still plenty more to come. His arrival at St James’ Park would also make sense when considering Woltemade’s new role.
Newcastle thought they welcomed their new talisman when the German arrived last summer. It’s since become clear that he was miss-profiled, however, and is not an out-and-out striker.
By signing Vlahovic, Howe can move Woltemade into a deeper role without the constant criticism that the former Stuttgart man was initially signed to lead the line.
