Night City in Wuthering Waves is a Somnoire area added to the game as part of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners collaboration event. The City of Dreams has been added as a small area in Solaris-3, and all the mercs looking to become a legend in the Afterlife can complete a quest to unlock the gateway.

How to go to Night City in Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab
To unlock Night City in Wuthering Waves and enter it, you will need to complete the special collab quest, Lahai-Roi Chapter III: Side Story – To the Stars Yet to Shine. Start the quest, and you will receive a request from Mornye in your Waveline. Complete the Waveline conversation, and you will be directed to go to the Spacetrek Collective.
Once you are at the Spacetrek Collective, interact with the door to reach the institute and have a chat with Mornye in Wuthering Waves. You will need to interact with your Waveline a few more times before you get the objective to go back to the Startorch Academy.
Teleport near the marker, and you will find the door to a Somnoire, emitting an ominous red glow. Explore the Somnoire and continue the story to find yourself with some familiar figures if you are familiar with Cyberpunk 2077 and the Edgerunners anime.
Next, you will be tasked with helping out Lucy find her missing comrades. Continue down the corridor and through the NCART train to find another of the Edgerunners, Rebecca.
After a few cutscenes hinting at the events of Edgerunners, you will find yourself as Lucy, chasing a phantom from her past. Here you will be introduced to the hacking mini-game from Cyberpunk 2077, allowing you to bypass the door blocking your path.
Keep following and using your quickhacks till you come across a set of laser beams. Enter the hacking mode and use QuickHack on the camera on the opposite end. You can swap to another camera connected to the NET and disable the lasers.
Soon, you will come across a weird anomaly, representing the Cyberspace. Use the Breach Protocol mini-game. You will be taken to another iconic location from Cyberpunk 2077, the bridge between the NET and the Blackwall.
Complete the sequence to find yourself back at the Academy, where you will need to fight off a few corpo enforcers. Keep following the main story from here on out till you are given control again.
You will find Lucy in the infirmary and Rebecca in the Academy arcade. After a few side hustles, the Edgerunners become familiar with the Academy. Soon, you will be led to the Collective Institute, under attack from mysterious discords.
Defeat them and continue the story, and you will soon find yourself in the City of Dreams, Night City in Wuthering Waves. You will need to complete the quest from here on out to unlock the Somnoire that will take you around the Japantown district.
