“I don’t give a flying f**k” – Beloved female star shockingly turns heel on AEW Dynamite; sends a warning message

A popular female AEW star turned heel on Dynamite after losing a high-stakes match. Some time later, the star delivered a chilling warning in an exclusive interview.

We are talking about Mexico’s very own Persephone, who officially joined AEW in January and signed a dual contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion and CMLL, where she is the Women’s World Champion. Last night on Dynamite, Persephone competed in a high-stakes six-woman Survival of the Fittest elimination match for the TBS Championship, also featuring Kris Statlander, Maika, Harley Cameron, Hikaru Shida, and Queen Aminata. Despite a valiant effort, the Mexican star lost to Hikaru Shida, who was crowned the new champion.

Some time after the match, Persephone appeared in an AEW-exclusive interview, which the promotion released on X via its official handle. In that interview, Persephone seemingly turned heel by throwing shade at her TBS title match opponents, calling them gullible and pathetic, then stating that she is ready to step on whoever she needs to achieve her goals and doesn’t give a f**k if you (fans) didn’t support her.

“Tonight, I didn’t win the TBS Championship, but I think I left with something even better, because we all learned that the great women of AEW, like Harley (Cameron), Queen Aminata, and even Kris Statlander, are some of the most gullible and pathetic women I’ve ever seen…I am done playing nice. Tonight, I found your weaknesses, and I will continue to use and exploit every single one. I will step on whoever I need to step on to get to where I want to be…So if you’re not a fan, I don’t give a flying f**k,” said Persephone.

AEW star Persephone on getting interest from WWE

Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Perseohone was attracting interest from WWE, with the Stamford-based promotion looking to sign her once her current deal expires later this year. In a recent Fightful interview, the CMLL Women’s World Champion addressed the interest, saying there were no concrete talks.

“I learned of the interest from others. I’ve been in Mexico for three, four years now, I wasn’t fully aware of the US scene or how contracts in the US work. I’ve always just been in Mexico doing my thing. So from what I understood, while being under contract with CMLL, I don’t think there was a way to have communication. I learned after the fact and everything from media and everything. I think it’s really crazy, right?”

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Persephone in All Elite Wrestling.
