“He’s such a social media dude”: LeSean McCoy claims Ryan Clark is crying for clicks and attention after getting fired by ESPN

Former NFL analyst Ryan Clark was laid off by ESPN amid the network’s massive layoffs last week. The former NFL player was informed about the decision while he was on the air during “NFL Live” on Monday.

Clark addressed his departure from ESPN, where he worked for almost a decade since his retirement. The former analyst broke down while discussing his layoff on the latest episode of his “The Pivot” podcast.

However, former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy accused Clark of crying for attention in his latest appearance on the “Speakeasy” podcast.

“A lot of dudes do stuff for attention,” McCoy said. “It’s a lot of them that do this, and I truly think that he’s one of them. So, my thing is, I just don’t know how real this is. He might have real feelings. I don’t know, but I’ve watched him over the years. He’s such a social media dude.

The two-time Super Bowl champion also said that he doesn’t “feel bad” for Clark after his firing..

“This is part of it…I don’t feel bad. None of that. Like we all been fired. My thing with Ryan is I just don’t know if it’s real or not because I’ve seen him all in action. That’s what he does. That’s what they do. Anything happens, I’m gonna speak about it because I just want to be looked a.t I want to be accepted.”

Several prominent figures at the network, including David Lloyd, Cam Newton and Bart Scott were laid off by ESPN last week.

Former NFL analyst Ryan Clark accused ESPN of “firing” him with “no cause”

Ryan Clark was part of “NFL Live” and ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” coverage along with a regular contributor on “First Take” with Stephen A. Smith.

The former analyst accused ESPN of firing him without any cause and used the layoffs to camouflage it.

“I wasn’t laid off,” Clark said. “I was fired. They’re using layoffs as a cover and a camouflage for what they already intended on doing. “But there was no cause for it. So because there was no cause for it, you couldn’t just fire me. So you had to wait for the layoff so you could camouflage it and veil it.”

Although Clark denied having any issues with Peter Schrager, NFL insider Andrew Marchand revealed that Clark’s on-air conflict with Schrager “played a role” in his departure from ESPN.
