The RAW after SummerSlam is in the history books, and the WWE Universe is still buzzing. The show planted the seeds for several new stories that could take shape in the near future.
The Triple H-led creative team teased these six matches on the RAW after SummerSlam 2026.
Thanks for the submission!
#6. Big Cass vs. Je’Von Evans
Big Cass made an immediate impact in his first night back on RAW. Moments after Je’Von Evans defeated Ethan Page in a hard-fought match, the returning star stormed the ring and attacked him. Cass ended the assault with an East River Crossing before standing over Evans.
Later in the show, Cass explained his actions during a backstage interview. He said the attack was not personal. After spending eight years working his way back to WWE, he wanted to “stack bodies,” and Evans happened to be the first person in his path.
That segment appears to have set up a future match between the two stars. With Evans likely looking for revenge after the post-match attack, WWE seems to have planted the seeds for a singles feud.
#5. Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan
Becky Lynch returned on RAW after nearly two months and made it clear that she did not come back to challenge Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Instead, she said she came back because Liv Morgan‘s Women’s World Championship reign had become a joke.
The Man called Liv a glorified valet and claimed she was having the worst Women’s World Championship reign ever. She also promised to make sure the title was defended more often.
Liv did not hold back in her response. The Miracle Kid accused Becky of being jealous and said her era was over. She also claimed, as usual, to be the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.
The entire exchange centered around the Women’s World Championship. That made it clear that WWE is building toward a title match between the two stars in the near future.
#4. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan
Stephanie Vaquer also made a major statement on RAW. The former Women’s World Champion returned for the first time in months and immediately went after Liv Morgan. That led to a brawl with The Judgment Day before the faction eventually retreated.
The segment made La Primera’s intentions clear. Morgan defeated her for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42, and The Judgment Day took her out shortly after The Show of Shows. After months away, Vaquer returned and has unfinished business to attend to.
Everything points toward a rematch. With Stephanie back on RAW and targeting Liv right away, WWE appears to have set the stage for another Women’s World Championship match between the two stars.
#3. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Becky Lynch
This week’s RAW also teased a potential match between Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer. After brawling with The Judgment Day and clearing the ring, La Primera and Becky shared a long staredown.
Stephanie then warned Becky to stay out of her way. The Man immediately responded, “Or what?” The exchange was brief, but it clearly showcased tension between the two stars. WWE may have planted the seeds for a future showdown between Becky and Stephanie Vaquer.
#2. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight
One of the biggest matches WWE teased on RAW was Roman Reigns against LA Knight. The Megastar interrupted the World Heavyweight Champion’s opening promo and demanded the one-on-one match he has wanted for months.
Roman refused. The OTC told Knight to get to the back of the line. However, Knight fired back by calling Roman a fraud and claiming that he was the “uncrowned champion.”
The confrontation made the direction clear. While the match was not made official, the company teased a singles showdown between the two stars. It feels like a bout that could take place at Money in the Bank or another major premium live event.
#1. Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker
After defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Oba addressed the WWE Universe and spoke about leading WWE’s next generation. As he was leaving, The Vision made its entrance. Bron Breakker and Oba then shared a long staredown without saying a word.
WWE followed up on that moment later in the show. Before his match with Joe Hendry, Breakker stood staring at the entrance stage. After defeating Hendry, he immediately headed backstage instead of celebrating.
The two stars never came face-to-face again. However, WWE used multiple moments throughout the night to hint that Oba Femi and Bron Breakker could be heading toward a future rivalry.
