How to unlock Anubis in Grow a Garden
You can obtain Anubis by reaching Level 40 in the Season 7 Season Pass. Once you reach the required level, you can claim the pet through the Season Pass. This makes it a progression-based reward rather than something you need to hatch or purchase from a regular pet shop.
If you have spent Robux on a Premium Pass (749 Robux), you are also entitled to get a Rainbow mutated variant of this pet.
What does Anubis do in Grow a Garden?
Anubis has a passive called Earth Emperor. The ability occasionally targets a heavily mutated fruit in your garden and destroys it. It can do this even when the fruit is favorited, so you should keep this behavior in mind when using the pet.
In exchange, another pet in your garden receives age based on the number of mutations on the destroyed fruit. There is also a small chance that the pet will receive a stronger age increase.
This makes Anubis’ passive a peculiar one. Since the passive ignores favorited fruits, the fruits you are deliberately protecting can still be sacrificed.
