SPURS AGREE BLOCKBUSTER DEAL FOR CITY STAR

Tottenham have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho in a blockbuster deal worth more than £75 million.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports the two Premier League clubs have reached a club-to-club agreement, with Savinho now expected to travel for his medical ahead of completing the move.

While Romano reported the fee would exceed £75m, Brazilian journalist Cahê Mota has provided further details on the enormous package.

According to Mota, Manchester City and Tottenham have agreed a deal worth €93.3 million upfront, with another €5.7m potentially arriving through bonuses.

That would take the overall package to €99m (A$162m) if all add-ons are triggered.

Savinho is now expected to be cleared to undergo his Tottenham medical as the final pieces of the deal fall into place.

The Brazilian has been at Manchester City since arriving from Troyes in 2024 following an impressive loan spell with Girona.

Still only 22, Savinho would give Tottenham another dynamic attacking option capable of operating across the frontline.

Spurs have pushed hard to secure the Brazilian throughout their summer rebuild and, barring any late complications, now appear to have finally landed their man in another huge piece of transfer business.

SPURS CLOSE IN ON SECOND MAN CITY STAR

Tottenham are reportedly increasingly confident of completing a blockbuster move for Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush as their extraordinary summer spending spree continues.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two Premier League clubs are at an advanced stage, with Spurs confident they can get a deal done for the Egyptian international.

Personal terms with Marmoush were reportedly agreed earlier this week, leaving Tottenham working to reach a club-to-club agreement with City.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein has also reported Spurs have been working on a deal for Marmoush alongside their pursuit of Savinho, with an agreement for the Brazilian winger already reached.

Landing Marmoush would therefore complete a remarkable double raid on Manchester City and add another major attacking weapon to Tottenham’s new-look squad.

And it would further underline the extraordinary scale of Spurs’ summer rebuild.

Tottenham had already spent a reported €268 million (A$438m) on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke before their latest moves for City’s attacking duo.

Now, with personal terms agreed and negotiations at an advanced stage, Marmoush could become the latest big-money arrival in north London.

    CITY MOVE FOR SAVINHO REPLACEMENT

Manchester City have reportedly wasted little time identifying a potential replacement for Tottenham-bound Savinho, making contact with Palmeiras over highly-rated winger Allan.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, City have opened discussions with the Brazilian giants over a move for the 22-year-old, who has emerged as their leading option to replace Savinho.

Initial talks have already taken place over the potential price of a deal, with City reportedly believing there is room for negotiation.

Allan is also understood to be keen on making the move to the Premier League.

However, convincing Palmeiras to sell could prove difficult, with reports out of Brazil suggesting the club would prefer to keep the winger as they compete for major silverware this season.

The Brazilian has established himself as an important part of Abel Ferreira’s side, featuring regularly throughout the campaign and attracting interest from several European clubs.

City’s interest comes as Savinho closes in on his blockbuster move to Tottenham, leaving another opening in a squad already undergoing significant change this summer.

And with contact now made and the player reportedly interested in the move, City have begun working to secure the next piece of their attacking rebuild.

WEST HAM SEAL LOAN FOR CITY YOUNG GUN

West Ham have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Manchester City teenager Divine Mukasa on loan.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Hammers have struck an agreement for the 18-year-old on a straight loan, with no option to buy included in the deal.

A medical has been booked after Manchester City gave the move the green light, with Mukasa now closing in on a return to east London.

And it will be familiar territory for the talented attacking midfielder.

Mukasa spent around a decade in West Ham’s academy after joining the club as a five-year-old, helping the Hammers win the U18 Premier League South title before leaving for Manchester City in 2023.

He has since continued his development at the Etihad and broke into City’s senior setup last season, making six competitive first-team appearances.

Mukasa also spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City, where he recorded two goals and three assists across 15 Championship appearances.

City underlined their faith in the youngster earlier this summer by handing him a new contract through to 2030.

Now he is set to return to the club where his career began as West Ham add another exciting young talent to their squad.
