ARI has a new eMTB, and with it, their first ebike featuring the immensely powerful Avinox M2S drive unit. Introduced earlier this year, the Avinox M2S system has gained notoriety for its power but also its ability to power through battery life.
Initially introduced with claims of 150Nm of peak torque and 1,500W of power, this build will include 130Nm of sustained torque or 150Nm in Boost mode, and 1,300W of power (the 1,500w claim is limited to the 700wh battery). ARI opted for the 600 or 800Wh battery for the Wire Peak with the expectation that riders buying the higher-end spec would prefer longer run times over power levels that are difficult to use on most trails.
The Wire Peak 3.0 harnesses that power in an aluminum all-mountain frame with 150mm of travel, meant to pair with 160mm suspension forks.
The suspension design includes independent High/Low BB and Long/Short geometry adjustments, with compatibility for both full 29er and MX wheel configurations across all frame sizes (S–XL) without compromising battery capacity, dropper post length, or wheel size options. “The hard part wasn’t building one great Wire Peak, ” said Tyler Cloward, Director of Product, “it was building the same one five times over. Same Avinox M2S system, same battery options and frame features — every size, S to XL, so that each size of rider gets the same ride qualities.”
A vertical shock layout reduces standover height while enabling longer dropper post travel per frame size. The drivetrain supports switchable Class 1 (20 mph assist) and Class 3 (28 mph assist) modes, configurable via the companion app or on-board display. However, it defaults to Class 1 every time you turn on the bike.
Component spec includes e-MTB-specific choices, including larger brake rotors, a purpose-tuned suspension damping profile, and reinforced tires suited to the increased speeds and mass of motor-assisted riding.
The Ari Wire Peak 3.0 will be offered in four build tiers — Sport ($4,999), Comp ($5,999), Elite ($6,999), and Pro ($7,999) — with a frameset + shock option at $4,199. Battery configurations are available in 600Wh or 800Wh, balancing weight against range depending on rider preference.
Each Wire Peak ships with Ari’s Custom Setup service, which includes adjusting dropper post length, handlebar width, stem length, stack height, and suspension settings based on individual rider measurements and riding position data submitted prior to shipping. The bike is covered under Ari’s Lifetime Warranty, which includes a one-year transferability window to a secondary owner.
