    “We’re definitely very familiar” – Tony Khan finally breaks silence after rumored AEW signing gets leaked

    Tony Khan was recently asked about one of AEW’s newest reported signings and has broken his silence about their involvement with his company. He seemed to hint at their imminent debut.

    It has been reported that former TNA star Mara Sadé (FKA Jakara Jackson) is now under contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion. She had talks with WWE and was offered a deal by TNA, but none of this panned out as she chose to become All-Elite.

    Tony Khan was asked about her earlier today during the AEW All Out media call, specifically about whether she was the mystery challenger for Persephone’s TBS title at the pay-per-view. He gave his usual vague answer, but did not deny the possibility. He was full of praise for her and seemed to be subtly confirming that she would be making her imminent debut.

    “Well, she’s a great, young wrestler. We have not seen her in AEW to date, but, she’s somebody that we’re definitely very familiar with for many reasons and is a tremendous young talent. So, I would suggest that you stay tuned, and you never know…She’s somebody that is of great interest, and is a very compelling young prospect.     Mara Sadé herself has teased her AEW debut

    Earlier today, the former WWE Superstar took to social media and hinted at her involvement in something this Saturday. This is not a mere coincidence, as All Out will be taking place in Chicago that night.

    The sudden addition of the TBS Championship Open Challenge to the match card may not be a mere coincidence, as Sadé could answer the call and make her blockbuster debut. She could even win a major title in her first match for the company.

    “✔️ Saturday,” she posted.

    There is another possibility, as another female star could make their debut instead. Several names including Kairi Sane, and former TNA star Dani Luna have been linked to the company. Fans should take Tony Khan’s word and keep a close eye out for Mara Sadé, whenever her debut could be.
