Popular wrestling couple Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews welcomed a new member to their family. The former WWE Women’s Champion made the revelation on social media.
Moments ago, The Eradicator took to Instagram to introduce Choppa, a dog they adopted yesterday, to her fans. She shared multiple pictures of the dog with heartwarming captions accompanying each image. Ripley and Matthews already had three pet dogs before adopting Choppa.
Thanks for the submission!

Rhea Ripley suffered a right knee meniscus tear during her WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy. Although she did not provide any details, the Aussie showed up on SmackDown the following week, stating that she was banged up from her match at the premium live event.
However, the 29-year-old has not made any appearances on WWE programming ever since. She also quietly relinquished the WWE Women’s Championship amid her absence from SmackDown after undergoing a major surgery to repair the torn meniscus.
Former WWE Women’s Champion made a surprising claim about Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley’s close friend and former Women’s World Champion IYO SKY made a massive claim about The Eradicator.
While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, The Genius of the Sky pointed out that Rhea was busier than her. SKY added that noticing Ripley’s busy schedule during the Crown Jewel weekend in Australia made her wonder if the former member of The Judgment Day was overworking. The Japanese star further opined that Rhea would come back much stronger than before.
“I really know she was being too busy, way busier than me. She was all over the world, she had main events, she had championship matches, and she had media interviews. I was thinking about when we were RHIYO; she’d been to Crown Jewel in Australia, and she was crazy busy. I was always watching her. Sometimes, I think about her, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s overworking, something like that.’ Now, she’s injured. That makes me sad, but she needs time to take time…but also, I know her personality. She will come back when she is much stronger than before,” SKY said.
Rhea Ripley is expected to be out of action for a while. Although WWE hasn’t officially revealed a potential timeframe for her return, the company reportedly hopes to have her medically cleared in time to be back by the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
