Roman Reigns sent his best wishes to those affected by Hurricane Isaias. He successfully retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
Reigns defeated LA Knight to kick off the show. Several moments in the match made it feel like The OTC was about to be dethroned, but he kicked out of multiple moves, including the BFT. With this, he became the first person to kick out of Knight’s finishing maneuver.
Thanks for the submission!
Reigns reflected on his win at Money in the Bank and sent his best wishes to the people who were about to drive back home in the storm.
“Honest day’s work. I love New Orleans. Prayers to everyone back home suffering from the storm,” wrote Reigns.

Roman Reigns Is Done With LA Knight
Roman Reigns spoke about his win over LA Knight after their grueling World Heavyweight Championship match. The reigning champion gave credit to Knight, stating that despite running his mouth, The Megastar backed himself up.
Speaking in a backstage interview to Cathy Kelley, Reigns admitted that he has no intention of running it back with Knight after their match at Money in the Bank.
“It’s a hell of a weekend, but this was priority right here. If I didn’t come to New Orleans, if I didn’t hold it down, and if I didn’t whoop LA Knight, which I gotta give him his respect. He runs his mouth, but he came in there and he backed it up, but he just ran into a better competitor today. I don’t want to see him down the road, but man, this was the prerequisite to get to Monday, and I’m just happy I was able to do it,”
Roman Reigns’ next challenger is yet to be determined, but Oba Femi, who won the King of the Ring, has a guaranteed shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. The Ruler called out the champion after his win over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank.
