Tyson Fury on Anthony Joshua: I don't fight cowards, I only fight real men

Tyson Fury has expressed his frustration on Anthony Joshua missing the deadline to agree terms on a potential fight between the two men.

Fury offered Joshua 40 percent of the purse from what could be an exciting British-heavyweight clash, but no agreement was reached between the two parties.

“It’s official. D Day has come and gone,” Fury declared at the time.

“It’s gone past 5pm Monday, no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua.

“He’s now out in the cold with the wolfpack. Forget about it. Idiot. Coward!”

Asked whether the Joshua bout is a ‘glamour fight’, Fury didn’t hesitate to call the former two-time world heavyweight champion a coward once more.

“No, there’s no glamour in fighting a coward, none,” said Fury, who will take on Derek Chisora on December 3.

“I don’t fight cowards, I only fight real men.

“That’s a glamour fight? No way. My glamour fight was fighting the 42-0 Deontay Wilder in America.”
