Dominant win keeps UConn hot at the right time

Associated Press No. 1 UConn played one of its best games of the season on Saturday against lowly Georgetown.

Sure, a win over the Hoyas doesn’t mean as much this year, considering the loss dropped them to 1-11 in Big East play. Still, UConn’s 89-64 win shows that last year’s national champion winner is hitting its stride. The Huskies have won 12 consecutive games by an average of 14.3 points.

CBS Sports noted that their 25-point victory on Saturday was their largest road victory since 2016.
