“Amazing game. That last ball I kind of forgot if we take a wicket, we could win. I was just thinking Super Over,” Cummins said in the post-match presentation.
“It is T20 cricket, we get used to batters getting them over the line but when you get to that last over, you do feel like anything can happen,” Cummins added. “And yeah Bhuvi just nailed six yorkers pretty much.”
The victory over RR propelled SRH to fourth place in the IPL 2024 points-table. With six wins and four losses in 10 matches, Hyderabad are firmly in contention for the playoffs. Defeating the table-topping Rajasthan has given them a considerable boost in confidence.
