Bronny James has surprising comments on potentially teaming up with LeBron

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James hasn’t been shy about wanting to play in the NBA with his son Bronny. But the 19-year-old isn’t thinking about the possibility just yet.

Bronny James was the most talked-about participant throughout the recently concluded NBA Draft combine. The former USC swingman showed out in various drills during the prospect showcase at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

Bronny on Tuesday spoke to reporters after the final day of the combine. The youngster was asked what a potential NBA team-up with his four-time MVP father would mean to him. LeBron’s eldest son pushed the idea aside — at least for now.

“When I get there, I don’t think it would just be like, me and my dad. I would be happy about getting into the league instead of me thinking about playing with my dad,” Bronny said.

“But that’s not my mindset at all. I’m just trying to put in the work and see where it takes me.”
