On Sunday, the New York Mets avoided a sweep in the London Series against the Philadelphia Phillies thanks to a rally in the ninth inning.
Trailing 4-3 in the top of the ninth, the Mets scored three runs against Phillies pitcher Jose Alvarado, who blew his second save in 13 chances.
Mets third baseman Mark Vientos hit an RBI single, first baseman Pete Alonso forced in a run after Alvarado hit his thigh and Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto allowed a passed-ball run, giving New York a 6-4 lead.
