Mexican actress Salma Hayek has been happily married for more than 15 years to French magnate Francois-Henri Pinault. However, Salma made a revelation about the moment she decided to join her life definitively to that of her husband, as she admitted that her family forced her to marry the owner of the Kering group, a consortium that owns the brands: Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Bottega Veneta.
In an interview with Glamour magazine, Hayek confessed that her civil wedding was a complete surprise because even her family ‘dragged’ her to the courthouse, in what she described as an “intervention”.

The actress from Veracruz, Mexico, admitted that she didn’t really want to get married because she had a phobia of marriage and had never considered the idea of getting married and that’s why she hadn’t accepted Pinault’s different marriage proposals. She always said “yes”, but did not commit concretely to a date

Finally, with the help of the actress’ family, the wedding took place on February 14, 2009, in Paris in a civil ceremony. Months later they held a religious ceremony in Venice.
Over time, Salma Hayek has acknowledged that she has found emotional stability alongside her husband: “Then I said, ‘Okay, I don’t feel any different.’ And later I thought, ‘This is kind of exciting.'”
The couple is currently considered one of the most stable in Hollywood, with more than 15 years of solid relationship in which they had a daughter, Valentina Paloma.
