    The Boyfriend Season 2 finale- Who are the endgame couples and who graduated from the greenroom single?

    Netflix has released the final batch of episodes of its dating variety show The Boyfriend season 2, wrapping up the journey with episodes 13 to 15. The series follows a group of men who live together for two months, running a coffee truck while trying to connect and find their one true boyfriend.

    Over two weeks and 12 episodes, dropped every Tuesday, the show delivered several major moments of its participants’ dating life. Early on, William and Izaya left the greenroom after forming a strong connection. Kazuyuki also chose to exit, deciding to pursue his ex-boyfriend of 15 years outside the show.

    In the final 3 episodes of The Boyfriend Season 2, the remaining relationships came into full bloom. Huwei and Bomi matched and officially became boyfriends, while Taeheon and Jobu also chose each other after realizing their mutual feelings. The journey ended with Hiroya, Ryuki, and Tomoaki leaving the greenroom single.


    The Boyfriend Season 2 episodes 13–15 Recap: Final confessions, new couples, and emotional goodbyes

    Episode 13 begins of The Boyfriend season 2 with the impending decision from the end of episode 12. Jobu and Hiroya both hope to run the coffee truck with Taeheon. Taeheon ultimately chooses Jobu, and the two head out together, happy with the choice. Meanwhile, Hiroya, Tomoaki, and Bomi go on an outing to feed cows.

    Later, Taeheon and Jobu spend time together over lunch, talking openly about their feelings and growing closer. They go on a sauna date, followed by dinner, and end the night with a sleepover, sharing a kiss.

    The next morning, Hiroya runs the coffee truck and chooses Jobu as his partner. After work, Jobu admits he hasn’t clearly expressed his feelings to Taeheon yet, but wants to. Hiroya also shares that he likes Taeheon but struggles to express himself.

    Back at the house, Taeheon and Jobu play a board game. Taeheon loses, and as a “punishment,” Jobu asks him eat the dinner he will cook for him.

    The next day Ryuki and Huwei returns to the show. Everyone is excited, especially Bomi who has been missing Huwei. However soon the mood turns off as Huwei brings durian for Ryuk as a souvenir, upsetting Bomi. Later, Huwei reassures Bomi that he has missed him deeply.

    The next day Taeheon and Ryuki running the coffee truck together. Later having a conversation Ryuki opens up to Taeheon how his coming-out story has inspired him. Taeheon explains that meeting people in the greenroom in season 1 of The Boyfriend has given him motivation and a sense of family.

    That evening, Jobu cooks lasagna for Taeheon and confesses his feelings to him. Taeheon says he likes Jobu too, but wants them to understand each other better before defining their connection. Jobu is disappointed but agrees to use the remaining time to grow closer.

    The next day, Hiroya gifts the cast matching hoodies and T-shirts. That is their final day to run the coffee-truck and all seven go together wearing the matching hoodies and T-shirts. After they return, Bomi confides in Hiroya and Ryuki that he isn’t sure if Huwei truly likes him, as he feels Huwei keeps some distance. They reassure Bomi that Huwei may just struggle to express his feelings in group settings.

    The next morning, they travel to Sapporo together. On the bus, Bomi and Huwei, Taeheon and Jobu open up to eachother more deeply. In Sapporo, the cast is assigned shared rooms. Taeheon chooses to room with Jobu, leaving Hiroya slightly disappointed.

    After dinner, Hiroya talks with Taeheon. Taeheon explains he’s being careful not to hurt him. Hiroya thanks him for being considerate and says he sincerely wishes happiness for Taeheon and Jobu.

    The next day, the couples go on dates. Taeheon and Jobu visit a perfume workshop and create custom fragrances for each other and while having conversation, agree they still need time to know each other better.

    Meanwhile, Huwei and Bomi go to a jewelry workshop and make rings for each other and Bomi admits feeling jealous about the souvenir situation. Huwei explains he has thought about buying something for Bomi but not finding anything good, chooses not to. Both of them talk about their feelings and view on relationships later, finding them similar.

    That night, Ryuki shares his fear about coming out to his parents. Hiroya and Tomoaki talk about their own struggles and family acceptance. Jobu becomes overwhelmed during the conversation and steps outside for air.

    Taeheon follows him, but Jobu doesn’t open up to him leaving him hurts. He then distances himself which then prompts Jobu to explain that his own coming-out experience has been easier, and making him feel out of place during the conversation. Taeheon understands and they make up with a kiss.

    The finale begins with the cast preparing for their last group dinner. They are joined by former members William, Izaya, and Kazuyuki. William and Izaya say they’re still figuring out their relationship and having discussions constantly. Kazuyuki reveals he has reunited with his ex-boyfriend, and they are back together.

    After saying goodbye to them, the remaining seven return to their Hokkaido house. Bomi and Huwei go for a walk and while reminiscing their journey, Bomi asks Huwei to be his first boyfriend, which Huwei accepts smiling.

    On the final day, the group reflects on their growth and thank eachother. Bomi announces that he and Huwei are officially a couple, and they graduate from the greenroom together.

    Next, Tomoaki leaves after reading a coming-out letter to his parents, saying the show has given him courage and a sense of family. Ryuki then leaves, saying the experience taught him to trust again. Hiroya follows, wishing Taeheon and Jobu happiness.

    Finally, only Taeheon and Jobu remain. Taeheon admits he’s grown to truly like Jobu and wants to keep getting to know him. Jobu says meeting Taeheon has given him confidence and happiness, and he wants to leave thr show with him too. The two walk out together, hand in hand.

    The commentary panel expresses happiness over the matches and reflects on how much the cast grew in just two months. With that, Season 2 of The Boyfriend comes to an end.
