Bill Belichick sued over worker’s injuries
According to the Daily Mail, a painter has filed a $300,000 lawsuit against the six-time Super Bowl champion after suffering serious injuries while working at Belichick’s $5 million Nantucket home in Massachusetts.
The worker alleges he fell and severely injured his ankle due to “dangerous and unsafe working conditions”. The lawsuit claims Belichick failed in his duty to maintain a safe work environment, inspect for hazards, and warn workers of known risks.
The plaintiff is seeking compensation for $61,000 in hospital bills, $4,600 in medical visits, $2,000 in physical therapy, nearly $168,000 in lost wages, and up to $50,000 in lost earning capacity.
