The Honkai Star Rail 4.2 anniversary rewards were recently announced via the livestream event on April 10, 2026. With the game completing three years of its Trailblaze journey, HoYoverse has decided to celebrate the milestone by offering 30 free pulls and characters. You can exchange the Golden Companion Spirit to obtain either Robin or Huohuo from the 5-star pool.

The Honkai Star Rail 4.2 update will launch globally on April 22, 2026, featuring the game’s third-year anniversary. As such, you can expect to earn several rewards in the next patch. We first discussed them below to help keep track of all the obtainable freebies.
Festive Gift
The login events are a wealth of free pulls for every HSR update. They usually offer 10x Star Rail Special Passes, helping you summon any desired character. During the anniversary patch, you will receive 20 wishes via Festive Gift over seven consecutive days.

Stellar Companion
The Stellar Companion event has returned in the Honkai Star Rail anniversary patch. This time Huohuo and Robin will be added to the special 5-star exchange shop. You can use the Golden Companion Spirit to claim either of the new units or snag any of the existing characters.
To The Ones That Blaze Mail
To The Ones That Blaze Mail is another event featuring some free rewards. After the version 4.2 update, you can choose a 5-star companion to receive their blessing, alongside 1600x Stellar Jades and 10x Fuel.
