“He has done diabolical things to people” – Jason Whitlock Unleashes Scathing ‘Satanic’ Swipe at Matt Barnes Amid Stephen A. Smith Beef

Longtime sports commentator Jason Whitlock had another swipe at former NBA player Matt Barnes on Friday. Barnes has been going back and forth with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith after the latter had a comment about LeBron James. Now, their feud has lasted for some time, as they have both expressed strong opinions about each other.

On his show “Fearless,” Whitlock took a jab at Barnes, whom he called “Satanic.” He went on a rant about calling him out for being a fake tough guy.

“Matt Barnes is not a fake tough guy, he is a tough guy,” Whitlock said. “He is a ‘Satanic’ tough guy. … He’s done some really diabolical things to people that thought they were friends with Matt.”

Whitlock did not stop there, as he continued to call out the former NBA player. He also mentioned that Barnes’ close friend and “All the Smoke” podcast co-host, Stephen Jackson, is “Satanic.”

“Men that have openly and honestly and transparently acknowledged, through their behavior, they’ve let you know, ‘I serve Satan, here on this earth’.”

Jason Whitlock said that it makes Barnes a dangerous person. He also said that a person who only fears God is the only one who can deal with someone like the one-time champion.

Jason Whitlock Calls Stephen A. Smith a Fraud

Jason Whitlock continues to call out sports media personalities. In March, the commentator issued strong words against Stephen A. Smith over the truth about his college basketball career. Whitlock appeared on “4th&1 with Cam Newton” and told former NFL star Cam Newton about his thoughts on Smith’s basketball career.

“He’s fraudulent,” Whitlock said (Timestamp at 01:05:34). “He’s lying about his college basketball career. He’s admitted he’s lying about his college basketball career.

According to Whitlock, Smith claimed to have knocked down 17 3-pointers during a Sunday scrimmage at Winston-Salem State University. The former ESPN employee also said that his former colleague was given a scholarship on the spot.

“Anybody familiar with HBCUs, anybody familiar with Winston-Salem State, and how little money Winston-Salem State has and had back then?” he continued. “They’re not giving out scholarships on the spot to anybody. It’s all a lie, and I’ve done the homework.”

Jason Whitlock was referring to the story that Smith shared when he appeared as a guest on the Old Man and the Three podcast in 2022. He also mentioned the scholarship he received in his book, “Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes,” in 2023.
