#5. Oba Femi squashing Brock Lesnar
For over a decade, Brock Lesnar has been the ultimate final boss of WWE. He popularly ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak and even squashed John Cena last year at Wrestlepalooza as part of the latter’s retirement tour.
While The Beast Incarnate is widely recognized for his raw strength and power, fans have recently seen Oba Femi overpower and dominate him in the ring during their ongoing feud. This rivalry is leading up to their highly anticipated match at WrestleMania 42.
The Ruler has been on a roll since his arrival on the main roster. He has remained undefeated and dominated wherever he steps into the ring. On Sunday at The Showcase of the Immortals, WWE should not only have Femi defeat Lesnar but also have him decisively squash The Beast.
Doing this would solidify Oba Femi’s reputation as a strong and serious competitor, quickly elevating him to the main event scene.

The wrestling world stood still on December 13, 2025, when John Cena tapped out to Gunther in his final match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. His retirement tour was an emotional journey, leading fans to believe that the 17-time World Champion had officially hung up his wrestling boots for good.
However, The Franchise Player is set to return to the global juggernaut on Saturday to host WrestleMania 42 Night One. Given that fans would love to see the GOAT in action, WWE should have Cena come out of retirement for one last match at The Show of Shows.
Whether it’s to settle a final score or to rescue a fellow superstar from a beatdown, a John Cena appearance would create a memorable moment. If Cena steps through those curtains for one last match, WrestleMania 42 could go from being just a great show to a historic milestone.

Currently, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns are on opposite sides of the championship feud. Both are arguably two of the greatest final bosses the company has ever created.
Since Pat McAfee and TKO are supporting The Viper at WrestleMania 42, it’s possible they could help Orton beat The American Nightmare to become a 15-time WWE World Champion. If this happens, the creative team should have McAfee and Randy interfere in the main event of ‘Mania Night Two and help the OTC team defeat Punk, adding Reigns to the alliance.
If Orton and Reigns end WrestleMania 42 standing side-by-side over CM Punk, who is lying half-dead in the ring, it could create a seismic power shift that could dominate storylines for years to come.

Je’Von Evans is widely considered the brightest young star in the Stamford-based promotion. The Young OG has the charisma and the high-flying ability in the ring. He has gained a lot of momentum since his arrival on Monday Night RAW.
The 21-year-old star has already made history in NXT, and now he finds himself in a high-stakes Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania 42 against other top superstars like Rey Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Rusev, Penta, and Dragon Lee.
At the Showcase of the Immortals, Triple H and his creative team should book Evans to climb the ladder and bring down the IC Title. This would be a record-breaking achievement for Je’Von, especially considering his age. It would also give the former NXT star his memorable moment at ‘Mania.

It’s almost hard to believe, but despite her impressive accomplishments, including two Women’s World Titles, a Royal Rumble victory, and being named the 2025 Female Superstar of the Year, Liv Morgan has never had a one-on-one match on the WrestleMania main card.
However, that changes at ‘Mania 42, as she faces Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship. It looks like this isn’t just about the title. Perhaps it’s about a career-defining validation. The Miracle Kid has evolved from an underdog to a calculated, dominant force alongside The Judgment Day.
Seeing her walk into Allegiant Stadium alone and step out as the new champion in her first WrestleMania singles contest would be the ultimate payoff for her efforts. It is the most anticipated coronation of the night and perhaps the No. 1 thing that would make ‘Mania 42 truly legendary.
