WWE Hall of Famer President Donald Trump escorted away after loud noises at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Thanks for the submission!
As per a report by CNN, Donald Trump was very quickly escorted off the stage by Secret Service after what sounded like potential shots were fired during the dinner. Other members of the Hall of Famer’s cabinet who were present, as well as Vice President of the US, JD Vance, were also quickly rushed off.
As per the report, Trump is said to be safe, and an administration official has said that those Cabinet members who were in attendance were safe as well. A video of the situation has emerged of the moment it took place.
The video shows several loud noises ringing out, suggesting gunfire. Immediately, there was a lot of movement from those present, ducking and taking cover, while the Secret Service members also sprang into action.
The Secret Service agents present yelled, “Shots fired,” when the incident took place, as per the report.
The report has also said that, as per an agent, the shooter is in custody, while others have said the shooter was dead.
This is not the first time that there has been violence where the WWE Hall of Famer is concerned, with there being a shot being fired that clipped his ear in the lead-up to the November elections in 2024.
UFC CEO and TKO member Dana White was also said to be present at the dinner, as per Damon Martin.
Further details are awaited at this time, as to the situation and the identity of the potential shooter.
